Circle of Control

Circle of control is something oft repeated and associated with mindfulness. With the whole zen/minimalism/happiness shebang, I’ve came to a realization a couple of days ago.
And like most things that happens to hit me in the face, it happened at the most random of times – I was walking to my commute.
The only thing we truly ‘control’, is our minds. Everything that we do are messages that are transmitted from our brains to parts of our body, which in turn creates a ripple effect when it comes in contact with something, or someone else.
There’s only one beast to tame, and the circle suddenly seems so much more manageable.
